QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A calling I found through my own therapy. |
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #113187) who holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in holistic studies from John F. Kennedy University. My private practice is based in Sunnyvale, where I offer counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
I discovered my passion for psychotherapy 25 years ago while in my own therapy sessions. After a career as an elementary school teacher in France and in California, I decided to follow my heart and build my career as a counselor — where I truly and deeply belong. I have experience across individual therapy, school-based counseling, and outpatient agency work. Working with a diverse clientele — Caucasian, African-American, Asian, Hispanic, low-income families, single parents, multigenerational households — has enriched me with the gift of cultural sensitivity. When working with clients, I consider early life experiences (Object relations and Attachment theory), life transitions (Developmental theories), impact from family relationships (Systems theory), and their inner resources (Solution-focused therapy). |
LET'S BEGIN GENTLY
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
A short call is often the easiest first step. We can talk through what brings you in and whether working together feels like the right fit.
